Volunteer For Education (V.E.O) is a company that organizes community tourism in combination with the locality. In 10 years, VEO has organized thousands of community tourism at 10 project sites in the North and 4 project sites in the South. We have experience in cooperating with many international businesses and schools from Asia and Europe. VEO is confident to bring a special, unique, and unforgettable experience to the tourists when visiting Vietnam.

"Vietnam Highlights and Cultural Experience Tour" is a travel program that combines experiences that are suitable for seniors to visit the prominent destinations of Vietnam. The program spans two weeks and offers in-depth activities to explore Vietnamese culture, particularly the cultures of ethnic minority groups.

Our concept is to let our guests interact with local people and know more about their lifestyles and traditions for a better understanding of Vietnamese culture. We want to show the real life of Vietnam.

HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
TA VAN - SAPA

Main activities:

  • Visit Ethnic Primary School, talk to teachers and pupils.
  • Walk village tour (Muong Hoa spring; rice fields; Ancient stone field) 
  • Enjoy traditional music of Giay ethnic people.
  • Visit the commune health care site and local family.
  • Handicraft workshop: Drawing patterns with beeswax and indigo dye. 
  • Explore culture of Giay ethnic people.
  • Visit Sapa Town.
BA VI - HANOI

Main activities:

  • Meet a Vietnam War veteran and tea-farm owner.
  • Harvesting tea leaves on a traditional, 30-year-old Tea Plantation.
  • Cooking class with a friendly local host.
  • Stroll around the village and visit some local families to understand rural lifestyle and learn how tofu, conical hat and other local products are made.
  • Enjoy a cycling trip.
  • Traditional foot bathing in warm water with herbs, following the traditional recipes of Muong ethnic minority.
HA LONG BAY

Main activities:

  • Visit Ha Long bay, visit Sung Sot cave, swim at the beach.
  • Cooking class with a friendly local host.
  • Enjoy the time to eat and relax on the cruise.
  • Karaoke with ABBA songs and others.
  • Going on a small boat/kayak or just resting on the floating boat.
  • Summary and conclusion of the tour on the boat.

Volunteers for Education (VEO) is a network connecting young people with enthusiasm to contribute to society. Volunteer tourism is one of VEO's programs.

During the 9 years of organizing the volunteer tourism program, VEO has established and continuously developed 10 project sites throughout the northern mountainous provinces. VEO Bringing knowledge and education to people in disadvantaged areas through tourism combined with volunteering.
